Discrete String R-2R DAC
More than 170 precision resistors across four specifications form a two-channel String R-2R decoding network. Independent power supplies serve the left and right channels, while selectable oversampling (OS) and non-oversampling (NOS) modes offer further listening flexibility.
FPGA Precision and Control
A 100K-LUT FPGA reshapes I²S audio data and calibrates R-2R decoding, coordinating digital processing with the discrete resistor network and analog output stage.

Hybrid Tube Architecture Tube Preamp + Solid-state Output Stage
Built around a pair of KORG Nutube 6P1 tubes, the circuit combines a buffer stage, a tube voltage-gain stage, and a buffer driver stage to deliver refined, expressive performance. An independent JFET constant-current source circuit in the source load enhances drive capability and control, bringing together tube warmth and solid-state precision. With two selectable sound signatures — Velvet and Lumina — listeners can tailor the presentation to suit their preference.

During CD playback, battery life reaches up to 14 hours through the 3.5 mm headphone output in TR mode, or approximately 9 hours through the 4.4 mm balanced headphone output in a hybrid tube mode. Actual battery life varies with headphone load, volume and operating mode.
